Life's a bit busy at the moment, I'm doing my FIC & Examiner rating so my brains being mashed by those nice FIE's!! I'll come up with a date soon and we can just take a straw poll on who can make it and then either confirm it or just rearrange.

Hope that's ok,

Joe.

Would anybody like to set up a date for the safety course? I am still keen to attend, and if we all put our available dates forward maybe we can come up with one that suits everyone.

Unfortunately the next few "1st Friday of the month's" seem to clash with my last few CPL exams - I should be free every month after September though.

Helibod - are you still doing these courses on Fridays, or have things changed since we last discussed the subject?

Best Wishes,

WhirlyGirl Cool

Yes I'd still like to do the safety course; can do most dates I expect so will see what's proposed and fit in around that.

Just resurrecting this thread. I should be done with my CPL theory in a few weeks, so my time will be more flexible. Would anybody be interested in doing the safety course all together? Which dates are suitable for everyone?

SloaneJoe, apologies for not getting back to you on this sooner. Are you still available to do the course and if so when? Perhaps we should start an official list of who is going. This is probably in the thread somewhere, but could you remind us how many you normally take in the group, how long the course lasts for and the options for flying that can be linked to the safety course. What is involved exactly?

I'm still interested in doing it.

I've got my LPC with SloaneJoe this evening, so will mention it to him then.

Spoke with Joe earlier, he is running a Safety Course next week and could arrange one for us after that.

Who's interested? As above, I'm up for it!

Hmm, next week kind of clashes with my CPL ground school. I can make it after the 12th September though. When is the next one planned for?

Sorry that's not what I meant - there is one arranged for next week(ful) and Joe is happy to schedule another for us after that.

So we need to get some confirmed people together and then talk to him about suitable dates.

Ah! Sorry - too early in the morning and my brain isn't switched on yet. Embarassed

I seem to remember they hold the courses on a Friday. Is this still the case or can we choose a day?

Perhaps Joe can suggest a few dates and we can meanwhile compile a list of those interested. So far it seems to be shaping up like this:

WhirlyGuy
Rotorcraig

R22 Adam showed an interested back in February - would you still be looking to participate Adam? Anybody else? How many do we need to fill a class?

Hi,
I'm almost as new a chopper pilot as I'm new on here. I'd be interested in joining up for this day or two, but I'd need at least a month's notice. In fact first friday I would be able to make is November 3rd.

Welcome Sprayline!

It would be absolutely great if you come along! You'll probably be setting a record for travelling the furthest for a HeliTorque event too! Perhaps we should start throwing around a few dates. If Sloane Joe is reading, when are you available? I have also sent you a private message...
