A_C,

I've fixed the wording now - it says "sign-up" on both accounts, rather than giving conflicting info. Don't know about the blank page - still looking into this.

Thanks for the info!

I resent the topic of the forum...but I will say I am impressed with your site Sir.

Anyway hiya...all I am the one and only 'bug'. I just wanted to say hi and hope that I have a couple good translators here to help me out from time to time.

Thanks Embarassed ,
Maybe next time I'll be able to come up with some obscure sub-post that makes alot of sence. I'm just happy to be here and thank you for listening. Sorry; "if you ever here me say it in person" it means 'excuse me!'

Surprised

I suspect all of you have heard that the 3/17 Cavalry is deploying to iraq. We are the spear in the COG. Finally, gonna kick ass, and take names; with some good reporting for a change.

Glowing praise that this is a post over a (possible) site issue for over a year!

I have finally given in and gone the iPhone 3G route, have had a trial of the MobileMe thing too, very slick (even if it had an iffy start). So, nipped to Helitorque to take a look round...

Logged in OK, and all looked good. However, the menu options (Home, Calendar, Community etc.) produce drop down lists, but selecting any sub-option does nothing.

I am running version 2.1 of the iPhone software.

Probably nothing you can do, but I thought I would mention it.

I believe certain patches are required for viewing on mobile devices (anything other than devices operating windows/internet explorer code), alot of forums have to patch for iphone users etc...

Unfortunately I don't think we will be providing any patches for that kind of thing at the moment as the forums at the moment are running on a very old system. We are going to be updating the whole of the site when we get any free time and when we do the whole site will be getting a major major facelift.

Even then, getting forums to work with certain mobile devices can be a pain but we will do our best. Not sure when we will get around to it though as it is going to be a mammoth job migrating all the existing forum data into a new software.

On another note I have recently tried to report some "broken links" and submit new ones in the "Web Links" section of resources. Just thought I should check and see if you were being notified. Very Happy
