Any recommendations for nice hotels in the area? I have the Helitech list - its not very inspiring.
I need to book my work mates into somewhere and I don't want to pick a dud.
Any help gratefully recieved. Thanks!

You can't usually go wrong with a Premier Travel Inn, I've stayed in many while away on business. Haven't actually looked but there's sure to be some nearby.

The Holiday Inn mentioned in the list is OK, but as normal for Cambridge isn't the cheapest. It is not in the middle of Cambridge, but just outside and with very easy access to the A14/M11 to drive round to Duxford.

The helitech rate is quite good for them. A taxi into the centre of Cambridge wouldn't cost too much if you fancy the delights of a night in Cambridge.

Traffic in Cambridge is a nightmare during rush hour, so I would try and stay round the edges if possible.

Two hotels have helipads, although not large, they are...

This is a nice place, and not too expensive. I guess 30 mins to Duxford by car.

There is also the Cambridge Moat House hotel, Bar Hill. I can't seem to pin down a website for them, but they are on 01954 249988 and have a golf course too - prices are not bad. I would say 20-25 mins to Duxford by car down the A14/M11.

Both are in the back of the 07 Pooleys as H36/H37
