Do u think you'll have a problem filling the post? I see Humberside is readvertising again and i hear there might be a slot in Lancs too!!

Easy way to attract the right people is to put up the wages! Gone are the days of the career pilot in the mil who will let their pension be taken into account!

At least 50 - 55K a year should be a bench mark IMHO. And guys i know in the industry too.

With Humberside offering a Salary of 45,843 - 48,705 I don't think we'll have too much of a problem! Wink

Due to a last minute edit of the advert SS mentioned Confused you will have noticed that it didn't make todays FI either! I would say that it will definitely be in next weeks..............

West Midlands Police is the countrys second largest - and one of the best performing - forces in the country.

We are looking for an experienced pilot to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team of Pilots and Police Air Observers based at Birmingham International Airport.

The minimum requirements are:-

UK ATPL (H) / JAA CPL (H)
1500 Hrs rotary / 500 Hrs PIC rotary
500 Hrs relevant onshore experience
50 Hrs rotary night flying experience.

Preferred requirements though not essential:-

500 Hrs twin turbine rotary wing
EC 135 Type Rating
Previous Police Aviation experience

The successful candidate will be expected to live within 40 minutes of Birmingham International Airport.

Great guy! Got me through my CASA to JAA conversion last summer, first attempt pass after not flying quite a while.

Very pleased for him.
