Great TD!

I still find it amazing that you can zoom in so far on Google maps. If that kind of software is available to the public I bet the military can see right into your living room! It's quite scary.

I think for helicopter pilots it's a great resource as you can check out the shape and size of a landing area before you fly there. Can't wait for them to complete the whole world in high quality...

True, the precision and detail of the area around the city of Zagreb (where I live) is fascinating, to say the least. However, and I'm not sure if this is universal, some maps appear to be quite dated. The one of Zagreb is certanly pre-21st century (literally) - judging by the buildings at our int'l airport, the shots were taken in 1999, or around that year...

I have added my pin but the map is very out of date, at least 5 years as I sold the cars shown over 5 years ago!

It doesn't seem to want to work for me.....I clicked on my place but nothing happens...and can't see a 'save my location' option.
....driving computers is way harder than driving a chopper!!!!
