i once read an article interviewing simon 'Doctor' fox, a radio one chart Dj, who owns and flys/flies (?) helis.

Would that be Neil Fox, who as far as I know, has never worked for the BBC.

No, I'm wrong. He's apparently in BBC3's The Wrong Door. Never done BBC radio though.

Yeah, Network Chart show...

He started on URB (University Radio Bath), then moved to Wyvern FM.

After that Capital FM - started with the evening show "The Surgery" (hence "Dr" Fox.), and moved to drivetime when Jenson left, plus network chart show. Frequently depped onto Breakfast for Tarrant when he was on hols.

Left Capital when he didn't get breakfast, now on Magic FM, London.

Think that's right!

Now, where did I put my anorak?!

Well if you want to be a true anorak it used to be called Radio Wyvern Wink

That's what comes from making radio adverts all day long!!

Yes, sorry, of course. Radio Wyvern is what I really meant - just when I dealt with them, they'd obviously got a slighter newer name.

Mind you, you're lucky I didn't say, The new Wyvern FM.... Laughing
