The new gearbox that has been added to the AD is the phase two MGB, which has just bigger mounting feet whilst the phase three MGB is being produced.

But why bother with the phase two MGB... I personally don't see the point, apart from it being Sikorskys attempt to show their customers that something is being done...

The phase three MGB is the same that is going into the Cyclone I believe for the Canadian SAR version.

Sikorsky need to pull their socks up, simple!
