Hi folks,

Have just started using MCC Pilot Log on my iPhone for logging all my flights.

Have to say it's very impressive and can be backed up to the PC based programme and then further backed up online. I have been meaning to go electronic for sometime and eventually pulled my finger out.

My flight is logged via iPhone (20secs) whilst walking back into the hangar. And then synced with the PC programme and online at home every other day.

Best thing of all when is comes to OPC time I can print off in JAR logbook format (FAA and other authorities formats available).

Bye bye pen and paper!

Anyone else using it?

HH

Funnily enough I've just been transferring my log book to Excel today. I'm rubbish with numbers and kept getting the addition of all the hours wrong. It's just a backup really but that iPhone app sounds like just the thing.

I didn't bother logging each individual flight, way too much work logging 10 years worth.

You can log blocks of hours, for example I logged all R22 time as a whole, then so on with the other aircraft types. Nice thing is I still have my log books to show if required, not that anyone would want to check that my flight on 23.4.03 was 1.1hrs.

A good system that I recommend!

You can also electronically import hours from excel spreadsheets!
