Does anyone know which businesses in Australia provide Helipad Pontoons? Or how much they cost internationally?

Furthermore, where would I find a secondhand one that is capable of commercial use?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Q. Does anyone know which businesses in Australia provide Helipad Pontoons?

A. There isn't. Pontoons are made to order, usually by marine engineering companies.

Q. Or how much they cost internationally?

A. Dunno.

Q. Furthermore, where would I find a secondhand one that is capable of commercial use?
A. Try Scott Menzies on the Gold Coast, he has used pontoons on the Nerang River to float right into the middle of the IndyCar races.

Q. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

A. Commercial use will raise a lot of obstacles.
How do you load / unload the pax? Rotors turning?
Where will they wait for the aircraft to land? Where do they go while the helo takes off?
Are there safety fences to stop them falling off? Emergency flotation jackets/ dinghies?
Firefighting equipment? First aid equipment?
Somewhere to hang the CASA safety posters?
Does it have a motor? Is it registered / insured?

We looked seriously at putting pontoons in Sydney Harbour many years ago, but the logistics just didn't add up. Plus the Nimbys would stop one anyway. Sorry to rain on your party, but you did ask for info. 8 months ago...
