Hey guys,
Hope you can help me, I am trying to do my CPL distance learning course but find it very hard to get motivated and take it all in and keep up with the schedule.
So I want to do the course all in the classroom, now I have had a quick look round the web but can't seem to find anything other than CAPT or Bristol GS who are both distance learning.

Does anyone know if there are there any places here that I can do the full classroom course?

Cheers guys

Martin

Could be easier to find a personal tutor and cheaper as you may not have to be away from home renting etc. Ask at you lovar school If there is anyone they can recommend. Whose books do you have?

I have the first CAPT book but just got this email from him "just in case you weren't aware, there is an 18 month time limit on the course and you are well over that now"

I was under the impression that I had to a recognised course rather than personal tutor before being allowed to sit any exams? But I will ask the guys at Kingsfield H when I get back onshore.

Cheers

You can use a personal tutor but you have to study material from an approved course. CAPT are excellent, you will still have to go to the pre exam refresher courses. But a tutor will give you that push that you are after... if they are any good. Make sure the person has good knowledge of the ATPL subjects. Just because they passed the exams doesnt mean they know/remember any of it.

I had a pilot from Logan Air tutor me and was very helpful with the fixed wing Bristol material.
