Well, Saturday was like Christmas had come early. I was called on the off chance and asked if I would like to fly a Jet Ranger down to Luton airport and back again.
I didn't need asking twice.

Being a Turbine virgin this was a fantastic opportunity so I jumped at the chance. I have only ever flown the R22 so I was amazed at the comparative luxury and power and how well she behaved in the cruise as well as that lovely turbine engine sound.....2.2 hours of bliss and a flight I will never forget. She really was fantastic to fly!

Made it back to EGBJ for tea and medals before the snow set in...bonus.
Happy days... Very Happy

Isn't she beautiful....don't tell the wife Laughing

be honest you slipped a bit of friction on her didn't you

These other women are so expensive but so worth it for the pleasure they give you

(sorry for the obviously intended double entendre however i didn't mention shaft, roll-on-roll-off, roll over, stick, over torque, lubrication, whining, horse power or skid marks)
