Mungo5 - how did you get on with the Enstrom? I did about 50hrs on an Enstrom 280FX about 10 years ago and loved it. It was just so quirky and different and built like a proverbial brick sh1thouse. True, it didn't cost me anything to fly it and it was a thirsty beast and more complex than a Robbo, but I still look back with fond memories of it.

Also, Norman at the Manchester Helicopter Centre in Barton was the expert in all things Enstrom, and I had many a fun time there autorotating the big beast to the ground with an ear to ear grin on my face!

3B.

Hi, I haven't managed to yet. Ive not had the time to drive half way across the country for some flying. I'm on the east coast you see.

Still keen to try an enstrom, if I can find one closer Barton/Manchester
