Great pix HG!! Particularly, look at the blades on the PolicePatrolLanding.jpg, no 3..it must be camera trickery cos I really hope blades (tail rotor too!!!) don't flex THAT much..

Foxy, I have seen this effect before on an A109. It was severely coning! I don't know if it was the camera blur or real but it looked as thought they were about to snap!

Heli_Girly,

So what was the occasion when you took the photos of the helicopters landing in what looks like a car park? Looks like the US version of Helidays..?

Lol it was at an event called "A salute to law enforcement" If you look it up on like Google or something you can find their site. They usually have tons of helis and i've heard that they have brought an Apache to the event a few times before, but it didn't show up this time Sad
It was put on in 2 big blocked off parking lots of a mall haha, and it was alot of fun. Total i think there was about...8 Helis there.

And with the blade bowing thing. I noticed that also, i didn't edit it in anyway or anything. It just came out that way, i took them all with the same camera and everything. That certain heli happened to be coming in to it's landing a bit fast and steep and i think that's why it turned out so different from the others.
