As a non-pilot photographer and writer, it seems I am always needing to look up information about various helicopters. A new book seems to have a great deal of information about what the editors consider to be "over 120 of the most important rotorcraft ever designed." Some of the aircraft are older, but most are in current operation.
The book is part of The Aviation Factfile collection, and is titled "HELICOPTERS: Military, Civilian and Rescue Rotorcraft". The senior editor is Robert Jackson.
The book offers plenty of photos and illustrations, technical specifications and (very interesting to me) also offers comparative information with helicopters in similar classes.
The list price is $17.95 US, but I've found it for $11 US. It can be found on Amazon.com for the full jacket price.
