Anyone purchased a helicopter in the US and brought it over to the UK? How do you go about this? How easy is it to move from the N register & get it certified in the UK?

Where do you start, and what steps have to be taken?

IF U BUY A CAR IN EUROPE AND PROVE THAT U HAVE USED AND DRIVEN IT AROUND FOR 3 MONTH, YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY IMPORT TAX
WONDER IF THAT GOES FOR HELIS TOO Rolling Eyes

Certification rules are more relaxed in USA I think, so it would be easier the other way around.
How are you doing the physical import, with a ship?
