Hi Low Skids!

Thanks for informing us about this event. I did a quick search to find out a bit more about the venue...

It seems they have their own race-course there as well!

I should explain.....

My company regularly uses* the airfield (Wymeswold disused) that lies just to the North of Prestwold as a venue for the training events that we organise for car manufacturers. Both the house, the airfield and around 1,300 acres are 'owned' by the guy who runs the house. I land at the house about once a month (keeps the helo out of the way!). I know of at least one other forum participant with a rabbit fetish that has also landed there (note: don't try and link that to user names, it's an in-joke. You know who you are Wink ).

There are loads of space to land, on the 24th September I suspect they'll use the field to the South of the house (bottom right hand corner of James's picture).

Sadly the airfield itself can't open on a Sunday (planning), so no combining lunch with a hoon round the track!! The driving facility itself is covered by this website (which my company pulled together): www.thedrivingcentre.com

* Or more accurately, we have an interest in

Just got back home after a couple of days away and read your msg on the forum.

Me and blme wouldn't have been able to make 24th anyway because we will be in East Yorkshire next Sat & Sun for a family weekend.

Shame the event has had to be postponed though :(

If it helps, I ALWAYS put money in the cash box for the Air Ambulance :D
