)I agree, a HeliTorque fly in to see BLME and Catwoman is a must later this year, surely!!!!

PS ... can't to Abingdon this year sorry! Sywell is closed to us locals 'cos there's a big Air Rally / Fly In same day - no heli movements other than those arriving & departing in agreed slots for the Fly In apparently Rolling Eyes

(and yes, I've asked whether I could have a departure slot in the morning and an arrival slot in the afternoon, but that's a Fly Out apparently Very Happy)

This thread hasn't been active for a while!!

Now we are into Summer( allegedly!) how about thinking about Autumn fly ins and get togethers.

If Kemble has a threat of closure, why don't we have another flyin there, seem to remember it was nice food in the AV8 restaurant, show them our support as most people did in the petition. And anyway we need to see Helicraigs flying skills.

I guess Dunkeswell is a bit far away for some from Sywell etc, I'm in Somerset in mid September could meet up if anyone fancied it.

Lets hope August and September have better weather.

I wouldn't mind a fly-in to Kemble. It is a lovely airfield. And yes, as
oi-martin says, the food is delicious.

A fly-in to Hawarden would be a good idea as well. We have a fantastic set-up here. (And there is a good pub with good food just around the corner!)
