Oagey,

Thanks for posting - there is already some info up on our calendar about the event. If you want me to add/change anything on there please drop me a private message.

Anyone who is planning to go, please do use the RSVP function on the calendar to announce your attendance so that other members can see who is going along.

Best wishes,

This time I think we should take a picnic! No more standing for an hour in the burger queue!

I thought there was no room in the heli for a picnic.

Two choices
1, Bring G-PERZ or

2. Undersling the picnic from a R44.

Number would be the best option eh Catwoman.

The burger queue wasn't that bad last time (thinking about it I don't think you were there at the 2006 event were you?). It was the year before we had to stand around a lot.

Last year was funny because we landed the R22 right next to a Blackhawk and these American guys came running over to check out what this curious little helicopter was doing there.

Not sure if we'll be able to make it this time, with WGuy's birthday being on the same day. Depends if we have some other plans, but we'll let you know either way.

As I have mentioned somewhere before on the forum, we managed to squeeze a picnic, a picnic table and two folding chairs, plus four POB into a R44 when we went off the HeliChamps a couple of years ago!

Have to confess we have had problems with catering outlets in the past but steps have been taken to improve and increase the outlets for 2007,so hopefully fewer and more manageable queues this year

Not too sure what we are doing on that day what with me becoming even more of an old bu***r but if we do go then please make sure that the paper you use to wrap it in isn't any of this :

but rather it should be wrapped in these :

I find that the former paper tends to make the burger taste a lot less inviting whereas the latter just adds that extra bit of taste to the whole experience!! Very Happy Very Happy
