The first six UH-72A "Lakota," light utility helicopters were delivered to
the Air Ambulance Detachment at the national Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA on 22 May

I have heard a lot of criticism on Lakotas. It overheats real fast for certain conditions in which most helicopters don't. I cannot find the link or the source, but once I do I'll post it here.

I see them fly occasionally, not all that impressive. They don't sound like any other aircraft either, very whiny sound to them. My buddy flies them and said its a flying computer. He doesn't like them at all. My opinion is indifferent as the US Army needed a light utility bird to do what the UH1 no longer does... all aircraft have their purpose and mission.
