Some lovely pics there Adam, and taken from my favourite helicopter, the EC120. What was the route - I don't recognise many of the landmarks other than the central London ones?

Oh, and pity those plank things got in the way of some of the scenery... Wink

Hi,

it was from Panshanger, to join the Lee Valley near Enfield, down over the reservoirs, and then join at Docklands passing over Stratford. Along to Vauxhall bridge, and then reverse the route again to go back.

We then took off again and flew North of Panshanger in betweek the Luton and Stansted zones, to a couple of private sites up that way (the later photos).

I love the EC120 too....it's the porsche of the heli world for me. And one of the best designs of a helicopter I've ever seen. They look really slick and sexy, unlike a lot of machines.

Adam.

Yeah, I like the 120, too. It is a fantastic looking machine, and a modern design with it. And I like to think might be more realistic in terms of affordability as it is second favourite to the A109.... which will win every time with me! Wink Cool

The only thing that worries me Adam, is that Harry Potter seems to be doing the flying. Don't tell me Hogwarts has now got it's own helicopter too... Wink

Hi Adam
I see from your excellent photographs that you have flown with Jonathan Penny a colleague of mine. He is based at Wycombe Air Park Me at Wellesbourne.

Keep snapping.

Yeah, good instructor. Very calm approach to it all, and very confident, without being cocky. Nice guy.

Adam.
