Thought it might be interesting to see what service our military members are in.

Welcome aboard, presume you will be out at Warton.

Did you ever run into Spon Clayton, was in the RN on Shars for a long time and then with the Research establishment.

Got to do a photo shoot from the back of 899 Squadrons black T-10 when it was still a new ship on the squadron.

Cheers.

U.S Army. Armor and Light Cav. Got out as a CPT with the requisite Bosnia and Iraq time. Got sick of riding in the back. Want to start riding up front.

Now trying something new. About 2 months away from CFI. The lessons are using up all my great deployment money!

Been flying (upfront) since 1993 and have just under 1,000 hours in a UH-1H/V and about 1,500 hours in a UH-60A.

Hawkdriver - Are the Army going to upgrade all their UH60s from A models to later standard.

I know the Navy is constantly upgrading but does the Army do that also.

I did eight years as a Navy Journalist, so it wasn't really like I was working. Spent almost four years on a guided missile destroyer, about a year on an LPH (where I got my first helicopter ride! A Huey), and just over three years in a Public Relations office in Seattle (where I managed to get a ride in a CH-53).

Ned, the Army is going thru some upgrades/updates with the UH-60A. There is a long grocery list and due to OPSEC I won't go into it on here. I did however want to answer your question, so yes the Army is currently upgrading their 60A's.

Not exactly a "Military Pilot"... I'm Military, and Im a Pilot, but not a "Pilot in the military"...

Well now that i'm here, are there any rotorheads at Balad (LSA Anaconda)? I wouldn't mind me coming over and seeing some gun ships or anything else I can get my eye-holes on. I've got about 6 more weeks and wouldn't mind seeing some more helo's while over here. So far, i've only gotten around the HH60's.

Thanks!

corey.perez (on the base email) SSgt. 332emxg and phone is -6333, i'm right by the 130's ramp. Its best to reach me through the base e-mail if you can.

I was Army from 1990 to 2003 and went to flight school in 1994. I flew Hawks in Germany, Campbell, and Korea with an accummulated 1400 hours.

Currently, I am attending college since being medically discharged. The best part of the discharge is the ability to spend more time with my family and not moving every 3 years.
