Hi there,

I am having a hard time figure this out. Maybe it's a question of technical designations.

What I want to know if possible is why centrifugal turning moment tends to decrease the blade pitch angle?

Thank you a lot for your help.

Best regards.

You can try looking at this excerpt from Phil Croucher's book on google books.

http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=AovdKRWSqJAC&pg=SA2-PA18&lpg=SA2-PA18&dq=centrifugal+turning+moment+blade+pitch+angle&source=bl&ots=XmTvurVth3&sig=Fpv3YFW93s-VlTIBTU1uiYqL19w&hl=en&ei=0lNTS7WcC87g4gaa1uDwBA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=26&ved=0CFkQ6AEwGQ#v=onepage&q=centrifugal%20turning%20moment%20blade%20pitch%20angle&f=false

That should bring up a page which helps to explains it.

I'd recommend the actual book...

Thanks a lot for the help. It explained what I was looking for. The book indeed seems really interesting. Is the title "The Helicopter Pilot's Handbook"? I only find that from Phil Croucher.

EDIT: I found it. Professional Helicopter Pilot Studies, thanks a lot for the help.
