Just added up my receipts for my flight training over the past 2 years in the R22, including ground exam fees and some study material.

14,500

I have at least 3 more hours of flying to do plus a skills test fee so the total cost will be in the region of 16,000

That does not however include 10 hours I did back in 1997/98 which I estimate to have been around 2,000 ( I think it was about 180 per hour plus VAT)

Did you log those previous 10hrs? They should still be valid.
