i have often thought of this so here goes,
has anyone thought about a union for heli instructors or at least talking more?
after all what would you do if an ex student crashed and then sued you? or , worse still killed themselves and thier family sued? especially if you are self employed
where do you get loss of licence cover?
can you get sensible life insurance rates when instructing for 750 hours a year?
how much do we all get paid?
salary or by the hour?
all of these things could be talked about hopefully making career instructors lives better.
there are too many pilots who only fly comercially and think instructing is a poor relation to sitting around all day at a wet racecourse waiting for drunk passengers to get back giving you a good shot at getting them home by dark(!)
