Well I had the unexpected "I will jump out then and you can do a circuit on your own" today... I thought it might be a few hours away yet but I was dead chuffed and surprised how much more being on your own focuses you and makes you try to fly as cleanly as you can.
Thanks to my instructor GregNz Cool for a memorable day.
Josh

Slightly late now I know, however in the attempts to try and APstart the forum again, or even jump start it I thought I would add my voice to the echoes of congratulations!

You are right, it is a fantastic feeling and one that should be enjoyed!

Good on ya!

Nice to see new people coming along to fill the shoes of old fogeys like me who have stepped aside. After 45 years since first solo and nearly 15,000 hours, my wings are now in the drawer.

Well done on your first solo, it will be one of many memorable steps you will take along the way.
