Hi heliaviator!

Shobdon is a nice airfield - been there a few times including on my cross country. They do a nice breakfast, and Tiger Helicopters have a lovely setup over there.

I suppose other options could be Nottingham, Tatenhill, Turweston, Derby, Kemble, in fact I'd be happy to travel a bit further so if you want to suggest somewhere I'd be happy to go along with it!

On which days is everybody available to fly? Are you limited to weekends? Hiring helicopters seems to be getting tricky on Sundays. I am fairly flexible at the moment but it's all dependent on whether I can get hold of a helicopter.

When are you thinking of going to Le Touquet? You obviously enjoyed your last visit there if you want to go back. The only time I've been to Le Touquet was en route to Paris, so we didn't really get to see much of it. Sounds like a lovely area.

We're off to Alton Towers in a few weeks (haven't exactly decided on a date yet, but it will most likely be a Monday) so you're most welcome to join us for that if you want to come along.

Just found this huge list of airfields with multimap links - maybe it will give us some ideas! I suppose it will have to be one that serves a good bacon sandwich - that is essential!

Anybody planning to fly this Sunday (the 8th October)? We're looking for somewhere to go and just wondered if anybody else might be out and about - maybe around lunch time. Razz
