In that case, I'll let my suggested date stand, and we can reconsider it much nearer the time. Very Happy

If 3 December is the only date Weekend Warrior and Mrs Woz can attend the Christmas Bash, then that is the date I am going to go for. No Mr and Mrs Woz - then no Christmas Bash!!! So, who is up for the 3rd December 2006 for the 'Official HeliTorque Christmas Bash 2006'.......

Bedford Aerodrome wouldn't be that far for us to fly-in either Wink Probably only about 20-25 mins away from our Wellesbourne base Wink

Plenty of water to cross, but this can be got around by going over short water crossing then over land then another short water crossing - for those fearful of water crossings!! Which I am not!!! Always remember - a helicopter DOES NOT know it is over water:wink:

(Catwoman tries to score points to win the HT Fanatic Cup - 4 consecutive posts in the space of 19 minutes.) She's the best - unless YOU know different..

Great ideas WW! I like the sound of Lundy Island! I looked at that on the chart some time ago, but never quite got round to checking out whether you can land there. Sounds good!

Count me in also for one of those fly-in 'driving experience' days .

Lundy was closed when we planned to fly there last September so it would be cool to try again...Ended up at Tresco.
Know of a good hotel just north of Plymouth...Parking for 6-8 Helis

I'm up for both Lundy and the driving days - both sound excellent ideas, Wozza. Nice one! Wink Very Happy

Foxy> Catwoman's just trying to catch me up... Wink

WG> I think there are regular helicopter transfers to Lundy, so I doubt landing will be an issue.

heliaviator> I don't know why I did it, but I read that you ended up at Tesco, not Tresco. Oh dear. Rolling Eyes Hotel north of Plymouth - would that be the Kitley House Hotel?
