Looks lovely! All viable ideas, I think!

Have you seen Kitley House Hotel? I believe they permit helicopters - there's certainly enough land with it to accomodate a dozen, I'd have thought!

Also, further north - nearer to Exeter really, the Lord Haldon Hotel - they advertise "helicopter landing pad" on the website, but I think that's just one "H". They have plenty of land surrouding the hotel too - no idea if that can be used or not.

I've stayed in both, and the rates haven't been too steep - admittedly, both occasions where Autumn/Winter time, rather than the peak of summer - I should imagine that location can afford to increase their rates for the summer season.

Looking at the various websites, I think Kitley House is very similar to Moorland Links in terms of rates.

I'm up for both Lundy and the driving days - both sound excellent ideas, Wozza.

I flew into Bedford Autodrome a couple of years ago -- there are (were?) three designated helicopter parking spaces with number 1 reserved for Jonathan's twin squirrel. I dare say they have other places to park, but at the time it was tight for space.

Definitely recommended -- it took weeks to wipe the sh*t eating grin off my face and days to be able to lift my arms to the keyboard and mouse.

They sent me their latest brochure the other day -- lots of new toys to play with.

Count me in if you arrange it.

Regards
Andrew

September, October and November are still full of question marks! Yikes!

Anyone want to fly somewhere? If so when and where?
