Finished mine in Dec (tok the full 18 months deliberately), did mine with Bristol (on the interim).... likewise now got some hour building to do.

Just looking at flinginwings calcs - and whilst I agree with the majority of what is written - the "schools" tend to push you into believing if it takes 55hrs in an R22 - then it might take only say 5 ...

Having learnt at HeliAir High Wycombe - they have a mass of R44s and limited R22s (read less availability) - they try to push everyone into R44's..

..thats not to say at your weight an R44 might/mi ...
