As a student I see some of my instructors with a flight bag, in which they have a lot of stuff, going from AFIL reminders, to frequencies tables, to VFR charts, topographical charts, etc.

Have you guys already test the DODOSim 206 for Microsoft Flight Sim X? It's quite impressive.
And they are doing a Bell 205 more likely a UH-1.
