It's an interesting question. I've seen more hostility on helicopter forums (not this one, obviously) than I have on any other subject forums. Maybe I've just led a sheltered life Laughing

it's ok - they give him a left-handed helicopter to fly. Make sure you ask for one when you start training.

I had also considered the ppl/cpl question (god, I need to get out more) but as he's doing it on a voluntary basis, he'd be ok with a ppl, wouldn't he?

I've spent the last month writing a novel in my spare time while trying to juggle two jobs (my boss left, I got her job but no-one's got my old job yet) plus playing the odd game of football
