If I come on Sunday, it'll be by car - Juliet Echo had a terminal EOL today (Saturday) and dynamic rollover followed. She is not a happy bunny. Should have been a practice auto and power recovery but the power bit didn't and it became an EOL. Ground very boggy and yuk, over she went. Andy the pilot had a cut I believe and the pax was going through x-ray to check everything was ok.
Very sad. Quite shook me up when I was told.
If I don't make it, have a good time.
Not really the correct thread, but as it's mentioned here: AAIB have today published their report into this accident here _________________ J.

Thanks for that James - we were happy together until that point! I was recently told, the pax on that trip's 300 has arrived at EGSY and is sitting gleaming on the apron right now.
We had another 300 (a 'C' this time) on loan from Belgium for a few weeks and I flew her once for .4hrs in June. The green arc is higher for the C so it flies faster, the rotors spin faster and it felt REALLY good - it therefore drinks more juice. I have a new 'note' to get used to now! The Belgian Heli (OO-DLM) has gone back and a German registered 300C has been brought over, and it's to be G reg soon if not already done. We have yet to meet, but I hope to go see this weekend and perhaps have a flight.
