So if Alton Towers take Heli's, it would be interesting to know if the other big theme parks, Chessington, Legoland Windsor etc take heli's.
Not that I've got one to go in.
Must check lotto tickets, may of had a share in that

They collected us from the helicopter and delivered us to the entrance, which I suppose was a 5 minute drive. Then they collected us at the end of the day and took us back to the helicotper, but in my opinion this does not justify a _________________ CPL(H) / FI(H) - Cabri G2, R22, S300, R44, B206

I agree with you Craig, we did it for the fun of it and the challenge of flying in. I don't make a habit of paying landing fees, and don't particularly agree with the fact they are charging them, but it was a personal goal to fly in there, go on all the rides and then fly home, and we had a lot of fun despite having to pay for the landing.
That said a windsock would have been nice. I hope they took that comment seriously.

That's quite some site clearance! I wonder if GWB had a hand in that one as well??
Very neat how the grass areas are still marked out and not very much debris on any of them - just the toxic water pools that they aren't quite sure how to deal with..
