Dear All,
Thought it may be time to start the thread about Helidays 2008 at Weston.
The dates are 25th to 27th July 2008.
Is anyone planning to go this year. We will be there doing night security again.

Request? The rain comes as standard with Heli Days, you should know that by now!

James, Will that be up from Bournemouth or down from Costock??
The Wx may surprise us all for that weekend. I am hopefully staying for the weekend this year.
TC, will you be there again this year??

Martin, I was joking...!
(Although I wouldn't necessarily rule it out, but in reality is probably a bit beyond my financial means at the moment.... and, it's unlikely to be a good weekend with regards to work - I rather suspect assessments will be in the week immediately following that.) _________________ J. |

Might end up flying in on one or two of the days, but that depends if anyone wants to take me along as their safety pilot!! Otherwise I imagine I'll probably be up to my ears in trial lessons for the whole weekend!

Well if WG, or anyone else (JTL/RC?), fancies going from the Midlands and doing one leg of the journey each (a bit of cost sharing!!) - then I will definitely be up for that.
PM me if your interested. |

Decent hotels - WSM - decent hotels!!! Double
Perhaps the best thing would be to get a gaggle of heeli pilots, book into a decent hotel "out of town" and mini-bus back in to WSM

I may be down on the Friday if anybody feels the need to fly down with an instructor on board.
We'll see...
