As the days start to get longer and the air is fresh and clear, what better excuse to escape to the countryside to meet friends and visit Shobdon airfield, its attractions and if there are enough takers even better fly to that astounding looking hotel!! Cool

Idea Weekend Warrior if you can give me a lift to the hotel in the jetranger then I???ll drive over to Shobdon in the morning Question Wink

I think it is a great idea! An excellent day out for all, what better way to treat the better half (or latest Vixen in my case!) to a wonderful Valentines Treat? (Valentines is Monday 14th Feb. guys, so no excuses now!!)

So come on people get out and buy February???s Flyer magazine and put your name forward!

Wow WW, That???s a very generous offer! I'll certainly make it along; I'd do almost anything to get a ride in a heli!!

If it is okay with you definitely book me a seat in the JR, pencil in a second one if it is free. Asking the girls if they would like a ride in a heli for lunch down to Wales is one hell of an original chat up line!! Wink

I'll keep you posted on the second seat.....

Wow! Where do you get your weather from? The MetOffice always seems to be poor at their general 5 day casts; but yours is four weeks in advance! Shocked

Sad init? Confused

I've always had a passion for weather prediction.

I use a combination of Avbrief, Sky plus weather and local area forecasts 214/215's. It's easy to sort of predict if you have wind direction, knowledge of where the Low's are and a bit of experience.

Knowing my luck - it'll prove me all wrong this weekend Sad
