steady boys - it's called a female, that's right yes, say it slowly, fe-ma-l... stop dribbling... no you can't order one through the tower ... not in this country anyway ... stop doing that to yourself ... it's a perfectly natural reaction ... no your not poorly ... we don't get many of these in our line of work thats all Laughing

seriously though, you must have been hot in that for the flight? (no pun intended)

Hmm, especially on the return journey, via the London Heliroutes! It was a little warm wearing it for almost three hours in the R22!!

Certainly didn't need the cabin heat!

Picture 11 shows Chateau de Chenonceau on the River Cher in the Loire Valley - middle France. Built in 1513!
I drove (with 2 bassoonists) to a farmhouse for a music course near Bergerac in 2006 and we stayed in Loches (has the deepest 'Donjon' in France) near the Chateau on the way down and went to visit it. Stunning place.

Great photo.

You ask what is wrong with the picture?

Well, you missed the "H" with your skids; the person behind you is pouring jet fuel into your avgas tank, and you aren't paying attention; your engagement ring is scratching the bubble; and the handcuff on your right hand is falling off.

Oh, and the trim tab is set 1 degree too high.

Well i'll try to get my thread tidied up and back on track Wink

What a cold, but glorious day for flying!!!

Arrived just after 10 am and finished at around 4 pm'ish.

Met some of the other students/pilots at lunch (EMH was busy today!). Lot's of stories and antics were told Rolling Eyes Smile

Morning was spent polishing up auto's and EOL, along with general handling - all went good.

After lunch I had a go at my first NAVI - reading a map and flying - now it's getting more interesting!! Smile Instructor was pleased with my first attempts (we didn't get lost).

Such a lovely day, let's hope Thursday is the same - booked in again for the day!!

Regards to all and safe flying.

Smile
