Right computer guru's,

I tried to change my avtar and now am unable to load up a new one. The picture is less then 80x80 pixels and is only 7.somthing kb. It's th correct file type.

What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks,

HH

Close the website, and reopen.

Try using a different avatar as a test. 80 x80 and less than 29kb total.

Once you do that, don't forget to reload the page or you will be looking at the one stored in the cache.

I just tried switching miy avatar back and forth, and it seemed to work ok.

Haggis,

Changing avatars seems to be working for me, however I've redone the permissions on the avatar folder in case something went wrong with that. Give it another go and see what happens. Good luck... computers eh!

Tack! Egentligen prata jag inte Norsk, men jag prata lite (dålig) Svenska...

But I seem to be able to understand Norwegian - amazing how similar all the Scandinavian languages are. We have really good friends over in Stockholm and learnt the language years ago (long story - got mixed up with the 90's pop group Ace of Base and we actually ended up recording with them back in 2000... claim to fame. lol)

Glad your avatar is back online!

Hahaha. ABBA? Hardly, although I did go to a fancy dress party dressed as Agnetha once, with the blonde wig and all... seem to remember (or not) that I got inanely drunk and locked myself out of the house Embarassed

Helmets are offered, but it's individual choice if you wear one. Just some extra protection against noise and vibration, which the S-92 has a couple of issues with. They are currently also experimenting with an MSA Gallet with Bose ANR installed in the helmet, and also Peltor Hummingbird headsets.

Standard company issue headset is a David Clark (same as the 120 had)... but they are not very good when you move to a larger noiser aircraft, poor ear seal and sound proofing with no ANR. The only time I use it is in the sim.

We recently had a pilot get lose his medical due to tinitus, so they are looking after our future health, but give me an EC225 any day... smooth and the anti vibration system is 100%. Hopefully a 5th blade on the S-92B.
