i think you need to elaborate on that statement as they are listed as both a JAR- FLC 2 approved training organisation, page 8:

...and an AOC holder, page 6:

Even here overseas is well known, you could ask first UK IR CPL H pilot
what happened in 2008. with amazing hour building.
I am glad that they are still in business after all.

Well it's clearly not well known over here. I know it is perfectly permissable to share rumours on an online forum, but with such little information I don't think that even deserves the title!

Pass the salt, someone... Rolling Eyes

I was thinking about starting my flight training with Tiger in the near future, so if there are any real problems it would be great to know?!

Fred,

Whats being hinted at goes back to 2006 when (and I'm generalising deliberately) some paperwork/ personality issues led to a chief engineer resigning. What followed was some fairly lengthy mud slinging. Any possible issues from that were, as I understand it, resolved a couple of years ago.

I know one chap who flies for Tiger and hes a genuine and decent fellow. I've flown in to them twice and found them to be more than satisfactory.

Find an instructor you have a rapport with, pay as little as possible up front, and enjoy: wherever you learn Smile

Thankyou for summing that up for me "flingingwings", i was curious as it seemed such a great place when i visited there a couple of weeks ago! Instructors to have a good bit of banter with aswell which should make it all that bit more fun! Smile

Happy Flying!
