Does any one know how much a new set of main rotor blades would cost for that 500? What state would they be in after felling branches? You wouldnt catch me doing that on any type

I heard that the rotor blades for a chinook are filled with gas ,with sensors to enable the notify the pilot of possible breaches in integrity. Also that they cost 11k each Shocked
Any one here fly them? Is this right?

H500....... I think I must be in denial with costs involving helicopters...... hence I halve everything...... makes everything seem better, until I view my bank statement!!!

CPL(H) is nudging forwards - got a nice shiny 300CBi to play with today..... soooooo much better to fly.

It actually goes where I point it!!! Very Happy
