Sounds like a good idea, must admit I would like to see Elan valley from the air. The most westerly I have been so far is EGBS a couple of times. Do you hire from Tiger tegwin?

I do hire from them occasionally yes.

I have to do my LPC at some point in the next 10 days.... then we should go for a little trip...Introdude you to the helipad and burgers at Lake Vyrnwy hotel!

Where do you usually fly from?

This might be quite useful for the both of us... I very rarely go East of the M5....boring scenery... but the traffic etc might be good practice. Seem to spend most of the time in the hills Smile

Mmmmm burgers, I fly from Gloucester airport and self fly hire from Rise Helicopters. Im waiting for my stuff to come back from the CAA and then I plan to get some solo time in first before I go off flying with anyone or take any friends up. So I'll be a while but I'll drop you a line later on down the line. Looking forward to meeting more faces from the forum.

I fly from Heliflight now, just next door, so if you fancy a drink in the Aviator next time you're around...
