I looking to find out the differences between the rules in my home country and the UK about HEMS.
In italy HEMS operations are performed according JAR-OPS3. Normally there are a contract between a helicopter company and the local "NHS" to provide an helicopter and a crew. so our "CAA" consider it a commercial operations.
I saw that in UK most of the EMS services are charities. so the operations shouldn't be for reward.
Which rules does apply in UK? JAR-OPS or any other "local" rule?
