I have never seen an R22 door like that before - is it for photography or something?

A complete thread drift but I also noticed this on the Helicopter Heroes TV program and your picture reminded me that I was going to post a comment...

Most cheap fluorescent jackets are highly flammable and will melt on to your skin if you're involved in a fire. Please don't fly with them on unless they're marked as fire retardant.

I used to SFH a couple of R22s with similar doors. I don't know who manufactures them but they seem to be an after-market approved mod. They give more elbow room due to the shape and a nice blast of fresh air with the moving panel slid open and via an air scoop/vent, but they do weigh considerably more than the standard doors. Haven't seen any in a while.
