Well done sean!

I know the feeling - the imprint is still on my hand!! When I did my Wellesbourne - Gloucester - Shobdon trip I also needed a few more hours so I went to Sywell. As you've already been there, it'd be nice to try somewhere new. I had never been to Sywell before I attempted it on my own, so I was ever so chuffed when I managed to find it! I only flew overhead and came back again, but once I qualified we went over there for lunch (as some of you know). Having found it once before this made me a bit more confident about finding it the second time. Very Happy

Enjoy it, it's the best feeling being up there.

Hi James

I'm short of about 1.7hrs solo NAV for the minimum requirement at the mo - was thinking about a trip to Barnsdale and then back round via Gamston / Newark for starters..... will get the charts out tonight

There's always the option of an airfield with a good cafe and go for a sausage buttie somewhere.....

Cheers

Sean
