What time is everybody getting there tomorrow? Our heli is booked for 11am so we should be there by around mid-day. Contrary to what they told me on the phone you CAN book tables at AV8, which is what I have done. We've booked for about about 1.30pm, so if you'd like to share a big table drop me a pm and we'll increase the number we've booked for.
Also, what time do they wrap these events up? We're in no rush to get but just wanted to know how long you guys are planning to stay.
Me and blme have just come back from meeting up with 'the gang' at Kemble. We didn't fly-in though, we went down on our motorbike. Perfect day for riding and flying.
We originally didn't think we could get there today because of a previous arrangement with family in Yorkshire (10 miles from Bridlington). We managed to get the family visit in yesterday though - flew up in a R44, had lunch and a cuppa then back home by 5.30pm
What a fabulous day to chill out at 'another' airfield Shame we missed you Heliaviator and Adam. You were taking off just as we walked into the restaurant. But, we have managed to take loadsa piccys of us all. Watch this space!
PS Also James, have you noticed how much better the weather is when you come along to the HeliTorque Events! Weston super Mare was NOT a HeliTorque 'do' _________________ TTFN
