How about this for an opportunity

Dennis Kenyon has launched a Helicopter Scholarship. Young people between the ages of 17 and 23 are invited to apply now for the UK's first and only rotary wing training sponsorship. The scholarship for a helicopter PPL is being offered by Dennis Kenyon, the specialist display pilot and flying instructor, in memory of his son.

His website is www.dennis-kenyon.co.uk
You will get his answerphone (normally) but leave a message and he will get back to you.

It would be worth the effort to see / meet him in person at Rougham or Shoreham

Hi Jerry! Thanks for the link. I have had a look, and it actaully says:

"Young people between the ages of 17 and 231 are invited to apply"!! Looks like there's still time! Hehe! Or could it be a typo!! Laughing

Hi people,

Have spoke with Dennis unfortunately the scholarship for this year has closed Crying or Very sad
Though he did say I should write an essay of not more than 300 words outlining why I feel I should qualify for it next year. Very Happy (Good job I have a few months to conjure up a letter!)

Jim.
