I find that when viewing threads (with or without photo's), the colume on the left hand side of the screen is too wide, thus I have to scroll right to read all the text that is hidden.

The setup is the same as another forum I use regually, I just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

Thomas,

How wide is the column showing up on your screen, and what size screen are you using? Have you tried making your window bigger. Perhaps you could send us the address of the other forum you use and we can look into what the problem might be.

If your window size is set too small the chances are you will have to scroll right. Thanks for letting us know. We will investigate!

Well, ok then! 19 inches should just about be large enough! Wink

I think we'll have to look into this, nobody else I have spoken to has had the problem you're describing. Can you send over a screen shot? That might give us a better picture...

Don't worry about your badge it's safe and sound. You can have it back in exchange for the keys to your Jetranger. Wink

Hi there,

Being on Mac aswell we don't use the same shortcuts but I seem to remember from my days as a technician in a College that there should be a 'Print Screen' button on the PC keyboard which will allow you to take a screenshot and it will be stored in the Windows clipboard. You should then be able to paste this into a new graphics document using whatever graphics programme is available on your computer and save it, upload it then link to the image for this forum.

Also the text shouldn't have that problem really as both the left hand column (user details) and the right hand column (post details) are in tables that are set to resize automatically to fit the screen so all the text should theoretically either fit as everyone else sees it or flow and wrap neatly onto the next line down.

Hope this helps. Will be able to tell more when I see the screenshot.

Regards,

W-Guy

I'm suffering the same problem - screen res is 1024x768.

I think it's probably more to do with the banner graphics at the top of the page. The "Heli Torque" logo, the "Advertise to millions here" banner and the helicopter images are all appearing in the same table row, thus making the table much wider than the screen resolution (the images add up to 1262 alone!).

Hope that's helpful.

Hi there,

I have just very quickly downloaded the header template and changed a couple of things. Let me know if that works.

Sorry about that although it should have fixed it if resized to a smaller size. Must be the difference in the way PC's and Macs render style sheets.
