We have added another new feature to the HeliTorque site - a Google Earth Member Map which shows where in the world all our members are, on a satellite and hybrid map!
You need to add your pin to be displayed on the map, so please check it out when you have a moment - it would be great to "see" where all our members are spread out across the globe.

Come on everyone - add your Pin to the member map.
To make sure you put it in the right place you can actually zoom in on your neighbourhood with the sliding scale on the left side of the map, the higher you go the finer the detail. Heck I could nearly pick out my actual street.
So come on, take a few mins and add your pin to the map.

LOl; you're not actually admitting that you Whirlies live under the park bench are you? I understand though, helicopters are expensive, that's why we're in the hedge!
As for helipads...well I might buy one of those Robinson portable(?) helipads and put it on our roof, trouble is, I don't know how we'd get up to it or down from it.
I hope more Torquers put their pins in though, it'll be fun to see how many other hedgerow or park-bench dwellers there are on here!

Thanks. It's quite an honor!
Why are you working on a Saturday night? Shouldn't you and Mark be out enjoying yourselves? Or are you recovering from a St. Patrick's Day that was too good to you?

Under instruction (from a forceful WG) I went to add my pin. It assumed I was a persona non grata & told me I could view but to place my pin I'd have to Log In (I already was) - and it assumed I was a new user..
I did get to see the nice West of Sheffield and north of Fulwood where I am, there is already a Fox House! Must be me then.. Funny thing though, it's in the wrong place - both for the REAL Fox House et ma maison aussi.. Maybe I'll have to re-register to be recognised?

Hi FF,
What do you mean? You have to click the "My Location" link to add the pin, then you find your area, click on the map, so a red pin appears, and then you have to click the "Save My Location" link.
You don't need to re-register. The labels and place names on the map come from Google Earth. They have nothing to do with the links we put in from this site.
