It was muted that we might have a MD500 day at Dunkeswell over Easter weekend.
It's only a month away and I'm definitely (subject to wx)planning flying to Plymouth for the friday/saturday and then down to Pembrey Wales for the sunday/monday with wife and daughter.
How many takers do we have for Dunkswell on the saturday...or is this too early in the year for people?

The subject was MOOTED, the response was MUTED or at least - the subject has gone quiet in spite of my attempt to revive it a few weeks ago.

I'm free then - or at least, staying in Budleigh so available (Mother permitting..) and would like to do it but it depends on possible numbers and of course, Mr 500 Driver being free or willing to take on a <collective> (a 'double' collective noun for a clutch of heli drivers!!) of hopefuls.

So can we have a show of hands please?

FF

Sorry, that's probably my fault it's gone quiet! I'd suggested at looking at Dunks as part of a summer get together. Largely because I don't fancy flying down there while days are relatively short. (And also because I can't really afford to fly this side of June, let alone fly that far!)

But, it looks like the summer "do" isn't going to be South West now..... Rolling Eyes Might just have to borrow the 44 for a couple of days and sort my self out a tour of the SW..!

Hehe - sorry (Heliaviator) to pick up spelling but since there is another word very close by I couldn't resist and, er, I'm a pedant.

Perhaps the Dunkeswell Day WOULD be better in summer rather than at a holiday weekend?
