Weekend Warrior you have done a great job "organising" this hundred dollar hamburger! It sounds like it will be a lot of fun.

One question - this evening gig sounds great (didn't realise it took place at Shobdon, I thought you meant you were going to watch a gig at the hotel), but some of us have to fly back and then there's the issue of the PIC not being able to drink... So, we'd either have to leave earlier, or stay the night. In which case does anybody know of accomodation in Shobdon which would not leave my bank account in more of a state than it already is?! Shocked

Otherwise I suppose we could bring a tent and camp outside the JetRanger/R44!

See you soon,

We are hoping to stay the night at Shobdon - WGirl on the case there. Booking rooms as I type - at Jane Sharp's B&B Smile

Hi WW!

Yep! On the case indeed! Booked rooms at Jane Sharp's. Thanks for the info! Your first choice was fully booked unfortunately but this place sounds nice and friendly! Probably be too pi$$ed to remember getting into bed anyway!! lol!

So, a lift would be great but if not don't worry, we'll get a taxi!

See you there!

Oh and by the way...

Quote:
In any case, I thought these helicopters had landing lights? Aren???t they allowed to fly in the dark? Shobdon airfield has runway lights available if you want them.

Of course we could fly back in the dark, but then one of us would have to remain sober *shock horror* Shocked
