I am an HCGB Member now. I know this because I received a letter saying "Welcome Member" and enclosing an out of date (2003) Member List.
No Member number or anything personalised except the envelope. Not the most friendly welcome really - plus one has to be 'approved' through application by the next sitting of the Council. Why would this be?
Their 'chat' forum is very sparsely used - HT is infinitely more active! The Members area is not very friendly and also not very informative - the shop leaves you to guess at what items look like as there are no pictures. Not many out of 10 for it I think.
According to the last RotorTorque, the 2006 membership booklet has been delayed, because of "so many changes of member's details and email addresses". That said, Jeremy stated that the copy deadline was Feb 10th - how long does it take to print and distribute them I wonder?
The most up to date one I've got says "2003/2004" on the front - I've certainly not received any since.... _________________ J.

As for the HCGB clothing Geoff King has a huge range of items in stock and the reason we have not posted any photos is that if you go to his website, www.polo-shirt.com, you can have the club logo put onto almost any item he has in stock.
Sadly I can not make the karting day but hope to make some of the other events can recommend the Spring Flyin, Tea on the Lawn and of course the Championship in August. We are looking for new judges to come forward, full training given and good fun, so if you
